Garage Doors and Gates

We build our garage doors and gates with the same level of craftsmanship as our formal entry doors. They are built from the same materials, using the same finishes, providing residences with a refined look and feel. Inspired by a variety of historic designs, many of our overhead doors resemble barn doors and estate gates.

We can manufacture most of our designs in three configurations:

  1. Overhead-door
  2. In-swing door
  3. Out-swing door

The over-head doors can be custom designed using a specific number of horizontal sections depending on the height of the door.

Arched tops, V-groove details and custom-glass and wrought-iron options give our doors a true period style. We offer custom wrought-iron services, employing European craftsmen who can build custom designs based on architects' drawings.

We install high-efficiency, double-pane, argon-filled, insulated safety glass as a standard feature understanding that most of today’s custom residences involve heated garages. With a u-value of 0.19 our glass is more efficient than 99% of the residential windows in North America. We use simulated divided-lite muntins giving our glazing the same old-style look as our windows with wood muntins on both the interior and exterior.

Our garage doors and gates are fully finished at the factory giving them a superior level of surface protection as compared to a jobsite-applied finish. We use industrial acrylic polymer finishes from Sikkens and Adler, specifically formulated for window and door manufacturers.(This is not the Sikkens finish you can find at your local hardware store). Our finishes are available in 20 stain options and a large number of paint colors. Considering the cost of painting the doors on-site, we pass on a substantial cost-saving to the builder by finishing the units in a high-productivity finishing plant under controlled dust and moisture conditions.
