Tilt-turn Patio Doors

Our European-style patio doors are rather unique to the North American market. Just like our windows, Tilt Turn-Patio doors open in three modes: Turn, Tilt, and Micro-tilt. Micro-tilt enables you to ventilate your home on a continuous basis via a rain-resistant gap. The Tilt-operation is a great ventilation option for families with children or pets. Tilt-Turn Patio doors are also available in single and French-double style. We can also manufacture custom assemblies of triple or quad doors within a single uninterrupted frame. For larger designs the units can be mulled together as needed, and we offer arched doors in both single and double configurations.

The same applies to integral transoms which are built as part of the main door frame. In addition, the transoms are available in the “full-sash” option providing you with consistent vertical sight lines (transom glass lines up with the doors below). When using the full-sash option, it is only a small upgrade to add hardware to the transoms, resulting in many clients ordering transoms which can be used for continuous ventilation during summer months.

All patio doors are glazed with tempered or laminated safety glass per requirements of the US Product Safety Commission and the local building codes. We also offer storm-resistant 9/16” thick-laminated glass, providing added protection for coastal areas.
